Middle East Coffee History

Both country Turks and Arab are popular of their coffee. Usually if you go to the local Turkish or Arab restaurant, you will find the Turkish coffee, try to order some. The taste is sweet and bold and is really good. For the past 14 centuries that place has well defined by dominant religion, Islam.
In Islam on Middle East, alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine are extremely forbidden, so the Muslims trying to drinking coffee. The coffee history began from the coffee grows popular as the Muslims discovered staying alive effects. The Islamic holy month of Ramadan would be the perfect time for Muslims to drink it, because it will be stay up the night for the prayers prays in late at night.
Finally night workers, student and travelers have followed the habit of drinking coffee. The first habit of drinking coffee was in Yemen, and then it became quickly spread to all the places in Muslim world like Egypt, Turkey, Iraq and Syria. Several opinion about coffee history consider that coffee was first used in Persia before Arabs and Turks drinking it, even though coffee is strongly impact in Arabia that called Arabic coffee.
The theory about coffee history that supports that opinion is that Ethiopians tried settling in Yemen and discovered by Persian soldiers and fought it. The coffee plant must be found by the Persian soldiers and took it back in the mid-15th century.
The coffee houses of Persian became well know for their style and spaciousness. The reputation they achieve is from accommodating scientists, thinkers and politicians who each of them has passionate discussion with a cup of coffee.
In Fact, the wife of the Persian name “Shah” appoints someone to sitting in coffee houses and discuss around history and among other thing civilized, hospitable and friendly and it is reported by English traveler. Looking the history some opinion tells that story tellers and entertainers was from Persia. American culture can’t be separate with coffee.
