It receives wildly varying reviews from 5 stars to 1 star reviews. You must keep in mind this coffee shop is open 24 hours per day and the experience can vary greatly between shifts. This is the number one trendy spot to grab your coffee.
- Green Café – This is not a traditional coffee shop but a full-fledged deli. The problem here is often their foods and beverages seem a little washed out.
The Surprising Findings around Union Square
Some of the best places to catch your cup of coffee and enjoy the traffic are not exactly what you would expect. Here are a couple of the best spots to drop into.
- A&A Coffee Shop – This little shop looks like an average greasy spoon café, but do not let the appearance deceive you. Inside the door you will discover great coffee, excellent service, and outstanding prices. You will catch a site of New York’s Union Square without all the tourist show.
- Trevi Deli at 48 Union Square – You are right, this is not technically a coffee shop, but they do have great coffee along with an amazing array of food. If you want to catch a quick bite with excellent coffee and low prices this is the place to go. You will be pleased with all cleanliness and atmosphere you find in the Trevi Deli.
Where should you really go for your cup of coffee? Surprisingly there are two places which are nearly neighbors you should go to first. The Coffee Shop Union Square should not be missed. Even though you may run into a few crowds and might hit a bad server the experience is interesting and fun. If you want a quieter and cheaper cup of coffee stroll a few doors down and hit the A&A Coffee Shop. It will quickly become your favorite stop for a quiet cup of coffee.
